Peer Survivor Nutritional Therapy
One of my primary goals for becoming a nutritionist / nutritional therapist was to help cancer survivors optimize their diet and lifestyle. While we don’t have total control of cancer, the quote “genetics loads the gun but the environment pulls the trigger” shares the relationship between disease and the environment. This famous analogy by Dr. Judith Stern, Professor of Nutrition and Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis, conveys the importance of how our internal and external environment, also know as epigenetics, affects the way our genes work.
As a peer survivor I can relate with all the different information out there in regards to diet and I can provide guidance to make healthy living more actionable by integrating nutrient density and wellness into your daily life (using techniques and practices backed by science and my own testing experience).
The Survivor Nutritional Therapy Program
I’ve designed a donation-based 8 week program for cancer survivors {post-treatment} that will focus on empowering you to take control of your health with the tools to help strengthen the body and mind. Our time together will include a support with nutrition, sleep, stress and movement.
Coming Soon: Oncology Nutrition
I am currently enrolled in the Oncology Nutrition Institute to be accredited as an Oncology Nutrition Consultant where I can support clients during any part of their cancer journey (at diagnosis, during treatment or post treatment). If you are interested in my support please fill out the form below.
